Here are "four apocryphal stories" about Sherlock Holmes from the pen of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle that are not included in "the canon." Cameron Hollyer explains why this is so in his Introduction. It seems "The Field Bazaar" (1896) and "How Watson Learned the Trick" (1924) were written for special occasions. Doyle had special reasons to write "The Man with the Watches" and "The Lost Special (both 1896) for The Strand Magazine. Further details are added to Beyond the Canon by Dayna McCausland. A "must" for every Holmes fan. Period illustrations. Booklet, card cover, 66 pages.
